Why a Cosmetic Case is a Must for Every Makeup Junkie
I am a self-confessed makeup addict. I just can’t get enough of it! No matter how much I have, each time I see somebody rave about a product in YouTube, I can’t fight the urge to go to Walmart or Ulta and I end up with a catastrophic room! It’s not that I’m not good with organizing my stuff (getting a little defensive here!), I just have plenty of cosmetic products to begin with. From foundation to concealer, setting powder, primer, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, highlighter, lipstick, lip gloss, lip tint, makeup brushes and tools and my list can go on and on, I have them all!
When you have so many different products, sometimes you forget to maximize using each one. It’s either you can’t find the item or you’re not aware that you already have it. This is why a cosmetic case is a must for every makeup addict in the planet!
The very first thing you have to do is to study the compartments of your cosmetic case. This will provide you with better organization. Some storage boxes such as cosmetic train cases have sections for storing brushes, liquid foundations, pencils and pressed powders. This is a must-have for professional makeup artists. Start with the smallest items such as eyeliners and lip liners. Use the compartment designated for their storage. When storing liquid and powder cosmetics, make sure each cap is on tightly to avoid spilling. Put these items in separate compartments or place them in sealed plastic bags if you do not use them that often.
A cosmetic case is not only for makeup, you can also put perfume, facial cream, lotion, setting spray or any other beauty product. If you want something small or if you do not have too much to store, you can opt for travel cosmetic cases to save some space. This is also ideal for people who are always on the go and want something that they can grab easily which has everything they need. Don’t bring too much when you’re traveling; bring the basics like foundation, palette that has eye shadow, blush and pressed powder, one or two lipsticks or gloss and makeup wipes or remover.
My caboodles cosmetic cases have always been a staple in my collection. The company who makes them has been known for its makeup cases and cosmetic cases. The infamous Caboodles case was a pink plastic case designed for pre-teens and teens. The case comes with lift-out organizing trays in cute coordinating pastel colors. It was originally designed to organize and store makeup and jewelry. It was not for adults but it quickly became an iconic symbol especially now that you can buy more sophisticated-looking cosmetic case from Caboodles.
Caboodles cosmetic cases are not at all expensive; the cheapest one I find only cost $14.99. These products are available at Amazon.com, Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Harmon. You can go to Caboodles.com to check if their cosmetic and makeup cases are available in your local store.
